Hello Elwin & Margit,

The flag has been finished and sent off to Nashville and to Iraq.  This version is shorter because we were told that if it was longer than 3 .5 minutes the djs wouldn't play it.  You have heard the longer version before, which we all love, but that will be dealt with later. Jeff and Steve plan to make another CD of their songs which may include The Flag.

The Iraq CD is a CD with  a number of big names, including Garth Brooks, that are donating their singing of patriotic songs which were chosen by the woman who is making the CD.  All the soldiers will receive a copy and the proceeds of the sales are to be used to help wounded soldiers and their needs.  All contributors will receive BMI from the playing of the CD on the radio.  Jeff asked about...do you really want our song along with all of these big names and their singing?  He was told absolutely..!!!!

I sent you the longer version, 5 plus minutes long. Do you still have it?  You can use which ever you like on your web site.  There is another version which they call the California version.  Steve is playing and singing it.  I will send it to you.

Also I have just copied a cassette of Angela's concerto made 20 years ago onto a CD.  We made  it live in the living room on rincky dinck equipment. But..... it is enjoyable and the songs are wonderful.  I am going to send you a copy.  there are 14 tracks on it.  I am going to try to get all of the good songs copied.  We intend to do them all over but it will take some time so I decided to do this.
