Publication for February 2015: This is a continuation of the second letter from Ken McWilliams, Ohio. Since both of his letters are in response to my own publication, I feel the need to share the rest, as my February newsletter. Since you receive two months publications together, you will not have any difficulty in following the thoughts expressed in each letter.

“Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God’s work from beginning to end.” Eccl. 3:11—NLT. Until revelatory knowledge is granted to us, its purpose is hidden. If we can begin to comprehend that “Al things are of God,” then we can begin to understand the corruption that has been in organized religion from the start of this “church age.” It was planned!

When Jesus spoke to the masses, he spoke in parables. “All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them.” Matt.13: 14. “And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them (Pharisees=man-organized religion) it is not given. For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath. Therefore speak I to them (Pharisees=man-organized religion) in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand…But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear. Verily I say unto you, that many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which ye have seen, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which ye hear, and have not heard them.” Matt.13: 10-16.

As we read these scriptures, we begin to comprehend the “big picture.” God will save ALL as indicated by Romans chapter 5 verses stated above. It is stated throughout scripture, but we have been blinded, or the scriptures have been veiled to us by the traditions of man, until the call to come out (ekklesia) of her my people as Revelation 18: 4 states. This is reinforced when we read 1 Cor.15: 21-23a which says: “For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam ALL die, even so in Christ shall ALL be made alive. But every man in his own order.” HALLELUJAH! God reigns and is sovereign over ALL things!

As the Holy Spirit speaks truth into our hearts, we begin to “connect the dots, in this grand “puzzle” that has spanned ages. As Jesus spoke of the Holy Spirit, he said: “When he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” John 16: 13.

As a result of God’s sovereign grace and choosing of the called out (ekklesia), and chosen (eklektos), we are given understanding as the Holy Spirit speaks truth unto us. It is interesting that the Matthew chapter 13 verses above about parables included: “who hath ears to hear, let him hear.” Also, all concluding messages to all the 7 churches in Revelation chapters 2&3, he said: “He that hath an ear, let him hear, what the Spirit saith unto the churches. (ekklesia=called out). ” Thus, there is a message here for us, if we will “hear” it. Getting back to our main topic about the “Lost Gospel: as Brother Royce originally wrote about.

We can see the hand of God subjecting all to frustration and futility, but subjected in hope (Rom. 8: 20, 21) that we may seek the Lord as we are enabled by God through the Holy Spirit. In other words, we’ve been made to “navigate the minefields of life” that we may follow his leadership (hear his voice) as we are called out of Babylon as described in Rev. 18:4.)

Have you ever noticed in this verse that it says: “come out of her MY PEOPLE..” My people? Yes, that’s what it says, and we’ve ALL been in the wrong place in the past—but by design so that we may LEARN through experience. Let’s see how it was applied by the Psalmist: “It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might LEARN thy statutes.” Psa. 119: 71. With this understanding, the next verses begin to make sense to us, as the “golden cup IS IN the Lord’s hand”

Gold in scripture indicates truth. The woman is holding the golden cup or truth, but it has been tainted by its contents, particularly the verse in Revelation chapter 17 reveals this truth to us. “Babylon hath been a golden cup in the Lord’s hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.” Jeremiah 51: 7. “And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.” Rev.17: 4-6.

Notice that John: “wondered with great admiration.” But is all has been made a false attraction, a “mystery” and a diversion by design so that those “who have ears to hear” would ultimately respond and repent (metanoeo=a change of mind/heart for the better.)” Have you experienced dissatisfaction with your religious life, which seems to be hollow and thought that there’s “gotta” be more to religion than this?

You’ve heard the preacher week after week give an altar call to the same “saved” crowd. Have we not gone to church for many years, and yet, we say to ourselves: “there must be more to than what I already know and have experienced? This is  God’s call in our lives! Just as the Lord told John in Revelation chapter 4 “Come up hither,”   we are likewise being internally called by the Holy Spirit to “come up higher” to a higher plane in the spirit that we’ve not experienced before.

Do not our hearts cry out as the hymnist wrote “My heart has no desire to stay: Where doubts arise and fears dismay; Though some may dwell where those abound, My prayer, my aim, is higher ground. Lord, lift me up, and let me stand, By faith on heaven’s tableland, A higher plane than I have found; Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

We are as those “foolish Galatians” that have been tricked by the enemy. We have so often tried to “perfect in the flesh that which was begun in the Spirit.” But now, he is speaking to us in our spirit, the inner man, and we are no longer satisfied with the façade of religion. Those in the church of Colossae had been tricked by those who had come into their group teaching the Law, dogma, traditions, and ritual. It seemed to be “right” because it involved self-discipline, but Paul directly addressed this subtle, but false worship by saying: These things indeed have an appearance of wisdom in self-imposed religion, false humility, and neglect of the body, but are of no value against the indulgence of the flesh.” Col2: 23..NKJV. But it’s of no value! “Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”  Psa. 127: 1. Vain! Futility! It is just as Romans 8: 20, 21 told us.

Lastly, as Bro. Royce wrote: “It is time for us to move away from the dim flickering flames that still support the idea of death…It was nice when we first believed! We danced and even prophesied back in the good old days of Pentecost. But while we are not belittling those days, we are heralding aloud the dawning of a new day that speaks of life and immortality seeing that Christ did actually abolish death…because, “death shall, indeed, be swallowed up in victory (life)!  1st Corinthians 15: 54, 55.

Moses, David, and Paul, among others had their “wilderness” experience so that God could have all their attention. This should be no different for us as God calls us unto the deeper truths in him. Ah! The good ole days! They seemed to be wonderful when the Spirit was moving and we were blessed with singing and shouting, but now he is drawing closer to “hear that still small voice” and giving us a passion in the manner that Paul had when he wrote: “That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.” Phil.3: 10, 11.

Hello! Wasn’t Paul already saved? Then why was he pressing so hard? The secret to: “If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead” is that it: was not “a” or “the” “resurrection” that he was seeking, as most Christians will experience, but it was the “exanastasis.” The premier of first resurrection. This is the only place in the New Testament that this word “exanastasis” appears, and those years in the Arabian wilderness for Paul revealed this deeper truth. John knew it, too, when he wrote: “Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.” Rev. 20: 6.

For the masses of Christianity, being saved is sufficient-but to those whom he has given that call to be his overcoming first-fruits: being “saved” is no longer sufficient. Thus, the writer of Hebrews: strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not paying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.” Hebrews 5: 14; 6:1, 2. For forty years I went to church and heard how to get saved over and over again! In verses 1 & 2, the writer is saying: “Get on with it folks, stop camping on the basics.” “And this we will do, if God permit” Heb. 6: 3.

We know that all creation has been made subject to futility and frustration according to Romans 8: 20, 21. Now the call is going out: “Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return ye children of men.” Psalm 90: 3. Brother, we’ve been in this position as “the children of men” long enough, it’s now time to return to our positions as sons of God, back to that time: “When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy.” Job 38: 7.

Morning stars? Yes, for it says: “And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations : And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. And I will give him the morning star. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches (ekklesia=called out.)  Revelation 2: 26-29.

When he gives us that “ear to hear” we will change—we have no choice, we are compelled as Jeremiah experienced a burning in his bones. Jeremiah 20: 9. That is why I wrote that article back earlier this year entitled:  “The Dead Shall Hear and Live.” It was burning within me to do so, because we can realize resurrection NOW, as he gives us his life through faith.

I am pleased for the effort and insight shared by Bro. Ken McWilliams, whose emails contain so much meat for the soul, that I usually lay them aside unto I have ample time to read them slowly.

 Thanks Ken!
