JUST-A-THOUGHT No. 423 July 19th. 2014
IMPARTATION
(Isaiah 61:2) 3 the oil of joy for mourning and the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness.
Trade-in price for this Oil of joy is all your mourning (grumbling), regret, condemnation (I could have done better!), preoccupation (I text’d God, but without an answer!!!)(I just didn’t have enough time is a weak excuse and you know it!), etc. . This special anointing oil of joy is applied to what was; such an anointing (smearing) lasts and lasts (Esther knows; remember?). Similarly the garment of praise has to be specifically put on and not just carried over one’s arm for use on Sundays! This coat covers ‘flesh’ and one size fits all! If you are around such a clothed person, you will surely know it ….always spontaneously singing and always happy and full of up-to-date testimony of where they are at … it is infectious. If that is not you, please do some trading! According to your personal testimony, you will have had love-experiences of earlier times of singing in the spirit. Such expressions take one into the very presence of Father. The baptism in the Spirit will release you to be able to hear more distinctly Father’s voice.
The occasional ‘worship service’ that we have attended more recently, unfortunately the folks were still singing in the ‘3rd-person’ … like “He is Lord” … to whom were they singing it or reporting it to? Must have been to the people beside them!? You have been called and are needed there to inject some oil of joy, praise, rejoicing and expectation.
