Just-A-Thought No. 431 (September 9th. 2014) GREAT CHANGE NOW FOR SAINTS! Any reliance on what you believe will be exposed. Are you brave enough to go with any change to “your” truth …. here is a good example. [Thanks Des.***]. Did THE CROSS kill Jesus? … or Did the Roman soldiers kill Jesus? … Did I kill Jesus? (John 10:17) Jesus said:- Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. (18) No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. God was 100% in charge. Paul clarifies this:- (2Cor.5:19) To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. God was not punishing man for sin but redeeming man by restoring His righteousness and unconditional love in man who was struggling by walking in his own righteousness. The power and purpose of the cross has been reduced by religion and we have been “short-changed” by man. (2Cor. 5:21) For He (God) hath made him (Jesus) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; … WHY? ...to forgive us our sins? (a necessary benefit, but rather) that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. This is the first major lesson for us to receive and fully understand and then the message of the Kingdom of God starts there with us.
