Just-A-Thought No. 454 (February 23rd. 2015) STUCK OR CLIMBING? (Song of Solomon 2:13-14) Arise (Come up higher than where you are right now), My love, My fair one (endearing terms for He loves you), and come away. (onward and upward!) (14) O My dove (that’s you and I), that art in the clefts of the rock, in the secret places of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet is thy voice, and thy countenance is comely (beautiful). You are either hiding or being hidden? It appears that you are in hiding? What from? Every day spiritual responsibilities? If you are hiding from the Lord, it will be evident that it is a hard place (spiritually and in every way) …in the cleft in the rock, you are between a rock and a hard place (rock)! Only one way out and that is to respond to the Lord calling you out. If the Lord put you in that restricted situation and therefore to get out of that cleft, you will have to return along the route you travelled to get there, you will see that this hard place is actually a set of new stairs. He’s there … Arise My Love. This situation you are in, you have not mentioned to anyone … that labels it a secret. The Lord-Bridegroom desires to look at you again and hear your voice calling out to Him … even after being in a squished restrictive place, He still sees you as comely for He is not looking outwardly. Believe it is so. He is waiting for your adoration/worship). He has given you the stairs with which to come up higher …. you not found that in the rock’s cleft that it has been so restrictive, dark and frustrating? Listen, here comes the call again, Come away with Me … Come on, this call is for you, answer your spiritual cellphone! GBY |
