Just-A-Thought # 463  (May  8th. 2015)

WHERE ARE YOU?  IN THE HOUSE OR OUTSIDE?  (Matthew 13:1)  The same day (that Jesus taught them who their true family was) JESUS WENT OUT OF THE HOUSE, and sat by the sea side, and great multitudes came to hear Him…(every Sunday).  The beach was “higher ground”, a little higher than the water of humanity’s thinking -- He could therefore speak with authority. (Matthew 13:35) That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the ‘KOSMOS’. These folk enjoyed the parables but never went any further -- like asking what He was truly getting at!. We do enjoy pastor’s Sunday messages and of course, conferences!

(Matthew 13:36) Then Jesus sent the non-hungry multitude away, and WENT INTO THE HOUSE: and his hungry-for-more disciples came unto Him (IN THE HOUSE), saying, Declare unto us the parable … If you desire to know more, why are you still in the garden? Jesus is in the house, your house … Come on in! ... and He is just waiting for you to say, ‘Show me the parable of ...’.  Disciple privileges are IN THE HOUSE where there is a closeness of fellowship with Jesus.  The question arises yet again, “Where are you?    ( ref.JAT #464)”.     God bless.
