Just-A-Thought # 464      (May  13th. 2015)

IT IS GOD’S GLORY TO SUPERVISE THIS SPECIAL TREASURE HUNT!

(Proverbs 25:2)  It is the glory of God to conceal a thing (Hb.dabar): but the honour of kings is to search out a matter (Hb.dabar). ‘Matter’ goes further than just the headline to include the detail.

When a thing is concealed/hidden it is still present but you are unable to see it. What you see is that which covers up ‘the thing (the treasure)’. Just like a certain ordinary looking rock which is not attractive. Expose the inner core of that special stone and you have some marvellously coloured crystal gem (like agate) inside. Our Father in His great plan has placed His fulness in us vessels that look very uninteresting on the surface until Father does a love-heart surgery and exposes His beauty within. We have been looking at some parables which enclose some

tremendous gems of the Lord. Kings are becoming increasingly aware of that which has been covered up in each life … and they have been given the honour to bring to light the concealed treasures which are found in every man. Are you a ‘king’? This searching-out KIngdom work is an honour. Are you up for it? Thus our present apprenticeship of training is a great honour/privilege too -- from which there are no resignations accepted. The Word of God is the early training for therein are the answers and confirmations that people seek after in their quest to be changed. We have not walked this way before!
