WHO TOLD YOU THAT?   Answer = conscience …  that still small voice ...

Con-science simply means “(con)with (science) knowledge”. Without there first being an input of truth, there cannot be any input from conscience. The mind hears and files the info and when something contrary to that ‘file’ is presented, the ‘red light’ goes on … conscience kicks in!

In Adam and Eve’s makeup, God had planted His ‘image and likeness’ standards in every man.

(Genesis 3) (8)  And they heard the voice of the LORD God (conscience within) walking in the garden in the cool of the day (Adam and Eve did the walking and ‘conscience was along for the ride): and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. (Conscience was very ‘loud’ in Adam… it was as if there was another very close physical being with them!). (9)  And the LORD God called unto Adam (His presence is in the heart and from there He only talks with Adam-Spirit-man., and said unto him, Where art thou? (Didn’t God know? Of course He did but He wanted Adam to to do a ‘checkup’.).(10)  And Adam said, I heard thy voice in the (my) garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; [One can hide behind joviality and empty subjects of conversation. Father has not yet chosen to pick up the ‘remote’ of your mouth! He just might hit the ‘mute’ button!]. (11) And God said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree (of the knowledge of good and evil), whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldest not eat?  [Remember, naked folk show a lot of ‘flesh’! They have lost their covering of truth/reality/spirit - Spiritual life … their “tree of Life”]. Conscience (from the heart) challenges that which the mind/brain will not.  And I hid myself … a bit late! Deaf-Self v. Conscience.  I hid myself behind some great reasoning! Oh dear! God constantly uses conscience if He has to, so stay alert.   G.B.Y.
