THE PRIVILEGE OF THE HIGH CALLING……..Part 5 ...THE DOUBLE PORTION continued.

(2 Kings 2:9+10)  ELIJAH (the elder) and  ELISHA (the younger) … Notice the ‘IF’.

(9) And it came to pass, when they were gone over, that Elijah said unto Elisha, Ask what I shall do for thee, before I be taken away from thee. And Elisha said, I pray thee, LET A DOUBLE PORTION OF THY SPIRIT BE UPON ME.    (10) And he said, Thou hast asked a hard thing: nevertheless, IF thou SEE ME when I am taken from thee, it shall be so unto thee; BUT IF NOT, it shall not be so.  If you are alert to that which God is doing, you will know…..

Elijah did 8 miracles  and Elisha with the double portion did 16 ….”Father, I desire to align myself with Elisha and be “with it” in the day of the power (Psalm 110:3) and let it be on record that I desire the double-portion release of all that is included in Father’s promises”. .                                     The big ‘if’ challenged the faith of Elisha. . . are you challenged also?
