INTRODUCTION TO SHEILA’S TIDBITS

Early this morning, my bible is open on my lap (this balances it!) and I found myself singing …

“The Lord is good, the Lord is good,

A stronghold in the day of battle…

The Lord is good, The Lord is good

He knoweth them that trust in Him”.

I look down to see where the bible is opened to … ‘Lamentations’!  Oh my, I don’t feel like lamenting for the Lord is good! I notice that chapter 3 has been ticked as having been read three previous times before. There must be something positive here so I turn the page to find verse (21) underlined at … “then I recall to mind”

‘I am reminded’ … These words remind me of my thoughts about “Sheila’s Tidbits”. The past two weeks I have heard my heavenly father say, ‘Write Tidbits’ to go with Ray’s ‘Just-A-Thought’s’ from time to time and begin with “I am reminded”. ‘Yes Father.’ The question arises, ‘How can I keep to a tidbit when I have so much to share?’ Here is my introductory Tidbit; I believe they will be mostly scriptures that our Father ‘brings to my mind.

Today’s tidbit … (Lamentations 3:21) I am reminded therefore I have hope. (22)  It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because His compassions fail not. (23) They are new every morning; great is Thy faithfulness. (24) The Lord is my portion, saith my soul, therefore will I hope in Him. (25) THE LORD IS GOOD unto them that wait for Him to the soul that seeks Him. (26) It is good that a man should hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord..
