SHEILA’S [J-A-T] TIDBITS   No.15      (June 4th. 2015)

"Oh Father, HELP!"  That is my cry.  I only desire to write your words.  I desire to "Let this mind be in me, which was also in Christ Jesus" [Philipp.2:5] at all times.  I desire to write only those ‘tidbits’ that You, Father,  bring to mind.  Let me not meander through meaningless memories but cause me to recall only those things that You desire to bring forth.  I have to say that when the Father began to speak to me about writing ‘Tidbits’, the keywords were to be, I AM REMINDED. However I did not realize that the things He would remind me of would be excerpts from our lives. I have been concerned as I find myself being reminded of these lessons, that we had been taught over the years that it might be too much about ‘me’.  My cry was "Father is this really what you what you want written?”  It is very easy for me to recall the wondrous things He has done in both my life and Ray’s as we have walked together for over 60 years.   God is faithful, the answer to our cry was already in the works!.  I tuned in to Bob Henley’s daily blog at servias.org: he had recently returned from a trip to Glastonbury, England where he interviewed a brother in the Lord, Brian Williams. We began watching these interviews.  Brian and His wife are also in their eighties. We were blessed to listen to Brian telling of how the Lord, His Father had led them in wonderful ways and I knew in my spirit that this was Father's answer to my cry.  Yes, I will continue to write of the way He has led us and continues to lead us and of the lessons we have learned and are still learning.  May each one of us be ready to respond to any prompting of the Spirit as He prepares us for that glorious day when we shall be released to fulfill our destinies.
