SHEILA’S [J-A-T] TIDBITS … No 5   (March 13th. 2015)

I OPENED MY BIBLE and ...

I opened my Bible and turned to Psalm 95 and began to sing  v.1 and v.2.

As I sing  v.2. “Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving’ , I am reminded  of Tidbit No. 4 about giving thanks in everything and immediately I realize that we have a new opportunity of  doing just this!   We have our own apartment in our son’s home.  Over the road  is our daughter’s home.  These homes are built  on the sides of a hill (Psalm 48:2) with a wonderful view of lake and mountains and we are confident that our Father brought about His Will in all of our lives in placing us here.  Now circumstances have brought to light serious problems in the Strata  causing much concern and frustration.  It really is ridiculous but also somewhat troublesome… however, what can we do but praise and thank our Father who knew all about this when He led us here. We are to REST in Him allowing Him to work out His Will.  Where there is rest there can be no stress only peace and joy! The situation creates a wonderful opportunity to show our neighbours the Love of our Father in action.

Another scripture that we sing comes to me: Psalm 132 v 14-16.  Here is my rest forever. Here will I dwell. For the Lord has chosen Zion. He hath desired it for His habitation. “I will abundantly  bless her provision. I will clothe Her priests with salvation And her saints shall shout aloud for Joy.  Hallelujah.  Yes we WILL give thanks in everything!
