SHEILA’S [J-A-T] TIDBITS  … No 6  (March 19th. 2015)

I AM REMINDED …

(Psalm .84 v.11)  For the Lord God is a sun and a shield: the Lord will give grace and glory. NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD from them that walk uprightly.

I am reminded of driving home one evening a few years ago, singing in the Spirit when suddenly Ray and I  heard the words and music change to this scripture and as we sang these words, "NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD" ...  we were passing the lane which led to the property we hoped to buy. This would be for our Fathers' use.  My hand raised to point down the lane as I inserted "Thank You Lord" and we continued singing ... to them that walk uprightly.  We were truly expecting a financial miracle to make the purchase possible.

We really do believe That with our God - all things are possible!  However nothing happened. Eventually we surrendered the vision for that property but with a genuine question "Why Lord?”  Everything had seemed to point to it. Suddenly the understanding dawned on us. NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD.  Of course this was not the right place and therefore would not have been Good for us, so our Father had mercifully withheld it. We were truly thankful. Amen.
