What's Your Name?

While on a recent hospital stay, armband removed, constant question, "What's your name?"
How important is your name and all that it beholds?
All that you are is contained within, as your life unfolds.
Treasured is a good name, according to the word of God.
Seasoned by each trial or testing, we are no longer a hard piece of clay.

Years of experience, as we are faced with each challenge, can either make or break our name.
Only as we live life and what it holds, can we see that life is not a game.
Under the control of God's Spirit, we can be led and follow His plan instead of our own.
Reasonably assured can we be, whatever comes to has been sown.

Names there are so many, just like people, they come with numerous descriptions.
Always guard your name, and do good deeds, that's part of the prescription.
Measures of love given freely in Jesus' name can be freely received.
Everyone who follows Christ, finds just how much more, it's only in His name as we believe.
