SEPTEMBER 10
EARTH FILLED WITH HIS GLORY
“Truly as I live, all the
earth shall be filled with
the glory of the Lord.”
(numbers 14:21)
“And the glory of the Lord
shall be revealed, and all
flesh shall see it
together.” (Isa. 40:5)
Throughout the ages past,
over and over again, the
prophets have declared there
shall be a time when God’s
glory would be revealed in
such magnitude that all
creation would behold it,
and be blessed thereby. They
beheld, in their spirit, a
time when “the mountains and
the hills shall break forth
before you into singing, and
all the trees of the field
shall clap their hands.” (Isa.
55:12). Then shall the rocks
cry out to magnify Him. Then
will the animals be restored
to the tranquility and
harmony of His kingdom, and
give forth praise unto Him.
While on this presently
cursed earth, we think of
life as being limited to the
animal and vegetable
kingdoms, and often ignore
the mineral realm. But
locked within the mineral
“stones” are the nuclear
energy forces of great power
from which the others take
their sustenance. So let
every kingdom, animal,
vegetable, mineral, release
their praise to the Lord our
God.
There are new dimensions of
fulfillment awaiting even
for Psalm 19:1, how that
“the heavens declare the
glory of God; and the
firmament sheweth His
handiwork.” The work of His
hands, which He hath afore
prepared unto glory, these
shall declare and show forth
His glory – living
manifestations of His glory.
But while all these lesser
kingdoms shall be restored
and “loosed” to give forth
their expressions of praise
to the Creator. The crowning
work of His hands is to be
found in man. “For a man… is
the image and glory of God.”
(1 Cor. 11:7). Not a man in
his unregenerate state, but
that NEW MAN “which is
renewed in knowledge after
the image of Him that
created Him.” Col. 3:10)
This new man is to the glory
of God, indeed, becomes the
very manifestation of the
glory of God in the earth.
