GRACE TO BE BROUGHT
“Wherefore gird up the loins
of your mind, be sober, and
hope to the end for the
grace that is to be brought
unto you at the revelation
of Jesus Christ.” (1Peter
1:13)
We recognize that we have
but tasted the very fringes
of His grace. It has not
been fully revealed or
delivered unto us. There is
that which remains to be
BROUGHT, grace which will
complete that work which has
been begun within us, and
bring it to a successful
conclusion to His glory and
praise. We are grateful for
the measures of grace we
have received, to find that
“as thy days, so shall thy
strength be.” (Deut. 33:25).
And we are secure in the
knowledge that that “My
grace is sufficient for
thee.” (2 Cor. 12:14). Thus
day by day there is a
sufficiency for our
overcoming. But these are
only “in part” measures, and
we have but received “the
earnest of our inheritance.”
(Eph. 1:14). Grace, which
will bring us into His
fullness, shall be brought
unto us at the revelation of
Jesus Christ.
Revelation, Greek,
apokalupsis, THE UNCOVERING,
APPEARING. “He shall send
Jesus Christ, - whom the
heaven must receive until
the times of restitution of
all things, which God hath
spoken by the mouth of all
His holy prophets since the
world began.” (Acts
3:20-21). Yes, the heavens
have received Him, but He
shall again be revealed,
uncovered, manifested unto
His own. “We don’t know what
we shall become in the
future. We only know that,
if reality were to break
through, we should reflect
His likeness, for we should
see Him as He really is.” (1
John 3:2, Phillips).
Reality shall break through!
And we shall be like Him!
There is a grace that is to
be brought unto us at the
revelation of our Lord, it
is a grace which will climax
all of the processing’s and
travail, and bring us into a
new realm of glory – even
His more abundant life. HE
is the true Messenger if the
Covenant, He will fulfill it
completely. “And of His
fullness have all we
received, and grace for
grace.” (John 1:16). As He
has received of the Father,
so shall He give unto His
own – grace for grace!
