JULY 6
TOTAL COMMITMENT
“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy
heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength.” (mark 12:30)
There was a commitment which Ruth gave to her
mother-in-law that becomes a previous parallel for
our commitment to Christ. Ruth 1:16-17. “And Ruth
said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return
from following after thee’…”
“FOR WHITHER THOU GOEST I WILL GO.” “These are they
which follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. These
were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits
unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was
found no guile; for they are without fault before
the throne of God.” (Rev. 14:4-5).
“AND WHERE THOU LODGEST, I WILL LODGE.” “Father, I
will that they also, whom thou has given Me, be with
Me where I am; that they may behold My glory, which
Thou hast given Me.” (John 17:24). “Now they desire
a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore
God is not ashamed to be called their God: for He
hath prepared for them a city.” (Heb. 11:16).
“THY PEOPLE SHALL BE MY PEOPLE.” “And they said unto
Him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without
seek for Thee. And He answered them, saying, Who is
my mother, or my brethren? And He looked round about
on them which sat about Him, and said, Behold, my
mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the
will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister,
and mother.” (Mark3:32-35)> “We know that we have
passed from death unto life, because we love the
brethren.” (1 John 3:14).
“AND THY GOD MY GOD. “Jesus saith unto her,- go to
My brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto My
father, and your Father; and to My God, and your
God.” (John 20:17).
“WHERE THOU DIEST, WILL I DIE, AND THERE WILL I BE
BURIED.” “That I may know Him, and the power of His
resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings,
being made conformable to His death.” (Phil. 3:10).
Surrender complete, we are HIS all the way. Oneness
that truly makes for daily overcoming!
