AUGUST 12
TIME TO AWAKE
“And that, knowing the time,
that now it is high time to
awake out of sleep: for now
is our salvation nearer than
when we believed.” (Rom.
13:11)
For six thousand years the
Adamic race has been asleep,
in the death of the carnal
mind, and now it is time for
resurrection. Significant
that one of the Greek words
translated as
“resurrection,” in Matthew
27:53, comes from the root
“egeiro” meaning TO AWAKE,
raise, rise again, and has
been defined as: to gather
the faculties, to become
mentally alert, all forces
brought into focus. This is
truly being renewed into the
mind of Christ.
As the holy Spirit probes
ever deeper into our being,
dissipating the darkness,
illuminating, exposing the
error and establishing the
truth, it brings the release
of God’s great DIVINE
THOUGHT.
God’s thought and desire in
the beginning became THE
WORD. “In the Beginning was
the Word, and the Word was
with God, and the Word was
God… all things were made by
Him; and without Him was not
any thing made that was
made.” (John 1:1,3. the Word
– the Logos, embodying the
whole mind, intent, and
purpose behind that which is
expressed. Truly He is the
expression of Divine Thought
and Purpose, a revelation of
the mind of God to mankind.
Praise God, we are being
“born again, not of
corruptible seed, but of
incorruptible, by the Word
of God.” (1 Pet. 1:23). The
Logos of God, this Word is
in our new nature, as we are
made “partakers of the
divine nature.” (2 Pet.
1:4). Hence we are to become
a further expression of His
divine thought.
Unbelief cannot stop that
thought, for unbelief is
negative, without creative
ability. “If we believe not,
yet He abideth faithful: He
cannot deny Himself.” (2
Tim. 2:13). Faith is
creative! Unbelief cannot
birth reality, it only
produces an illusion which
is dissipated when divine
reality comes forth. God is
God, His thought shall be
established. It is time for
us to awake out of the
carnal mind realm, come
alive into the mind of
Christ, that we might be
true expressions of His will
and purpose.
